Mechan Media worked with filmmaker Jeffrey Townsend on the production of the videos for Skeleton Creek: The Crossbones, the third installment in a multimedia book series written by Patrick Carman and published by Scholastic.  The format is one in which part of the story takes place in the book, and part in a series of on-​​line videos.

The videos were produced by Patrick Carman and directed by Jeffrey Townsend, who returned to Mechan Media after having us onboard for Trackers, another book series in the same format.

For this project, Mechan Media performed location scouting, location management, and assisted with set design and construction.

Skeleton Creek: The Crossbones was released on September 1, 2010.

Être Singulier Pluriel, or as we usually refer to it, ESP, was a short film produced for the annual Walla Walla University Communications Department’s Fast Film Festival. The film was required to be no more than 5 minutes in length, had to be created from start to finish in the span of one week, and had to incorporate the use of either Spanish, German, or French.

Quarantined was written, edited, and directed by Mechan Media member Jason Daub.  Other members of Mechan Media and friends also collaborated on the production.  Quarantined was produced for a public showcase of short films hosted at the local theater in Walla Walla, WA.
