Être Singulier Pluriel, or as we usually refer to it, ESP, was a short film produced for the annual Walla Walla University Communications Department’s Fast Film Festival. The film was required to be no more than 5 minutes in length, had to be created from start to finish in the span of one week, and had to incorporate the use of either Spanish, German, or French.

Created by Mechan Media member Brandon Lehman as a last minute entry into an area film festival, French Press is both an expression of affection for good coffee and an example of heavily caffeinated late-​​night creativity. Brandon shot and edited French Press in one long night.

Ripple is an experimental art film made by Mechan Media member Alex English for a class in 2007.  It was inspired by a Hyundai commercial called “Boxes” aired not long before and was an exercise in a new type of story, ridiculously detailed pre-​​production planning, and compositing and visual effects.
