Brandon Lehman
Cinematographer, Visual Effects Artist
Brandon Lehman was born in Washington state in 1984. Despite sharing the birthdays of Samuel Clemens, Winston Churchill and George Orwell, Brandon has not been particularly noteworthy in local color social commentary, diplomacy or literature. In fact, his accolades in those areas would be hard pressed to fill a post-it note.
Brandon graduated from Columbia Basin College with an associates degree in computer science in 2006 and from Walla Walla University in June 2010 with a Scientiæ Baccalaureus degree in New Media Imaging.
Brandon received his first camera as a gift when he was 8 years old. He began taking community classes in photography and oil painting when he was 13 and quickly filled shoeboxes with black and white 4×6′s taken with his fathers old Minolta. Photography soon became a gateway addiction and before long, Brandon was dabbling in Photoshop, Maya, After Effects and Premiere. He started work at a local graphic design company while he attended CBC and it was there that he became an Apple convert. Currently, Brandon is focussed on film and cinematography.
As a partner in Mechan Media, LLC he takes a specific interest in the aesthetic and function of the lens in capturing and enhancing the emotion and mood evoked by the director, actors and script.
