Shine Shine is a short film produced in one week for the Walla Walla University Communications Department Fast Film Festival in the winter of 2008.  Members of Mechan Media collaborated with other students to create the piece.

The competition required that at least one shot had to be taken in or directly outside of the communications building, that a university staff or faculty member must be seen somewhere in a shot, and that “ASWWC” (Associated Students of Walla Walla College [yes, it was still called that for that year even though it became a university]) had to be spoken as dialog.

Shine Shine won the following awards:

• WWU Fast Film Festival 2008: Best Picture
• WWU Fast Film Festival 2008: Audience Favorite
• WWU Fast Film Festival 2008: Best Actress
