A Midsummer Night’s Dream Score
Mechan Media member Ryan Sturges created an original score for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, put on by Walla Walla University Drama.
Ryan served as sound designer/engineer for the production and created the score, including ambient pieces for atmosphere during scene changes and more upbeat pieces to which choreographed dance was performed.
The score is available on CD and can be purchased through the link below. The price is $7.00 (Washington State sales tax included) plus $3.00 shipping.
EWB Gala Success
Last night the Engineers Without Borders — Walla Walla University held their annual fundraising gala. Their target was $15,000 and they managed to raise over $16,000!
As a part of the main presentation, Mechan Media presented a video for the event that updated the attendees on the project and gave background information about the organization and the impact it has on students. The video was very well received and garnered a lot of positive feedback. Pending a few more small tweaks and a very long encode process, we plan to have the video posted in our portfolio in a few days.
The video is a follow up to the first video we did for EWB a little over a year ago.
